David Gillett is an accomplished attorney and the founder of Gillett Legacy Law PLLC, a distinguished law firm dedicated to providing thoughtful, high-quality legal guidance. David’s journey into the legal profession was shaped by a diverse background in service and business. After completing high school, he pursued his passion for football and attended university while also beginning his military career by joining the Marine Corps. Serving as an infantryman and close combat instructor, he participated in numerous operations, including Noble Obelisk in Africa and missions along the Turkey-Syria border, gaining valuable discipline, leadership, and real-world experience.

Following his military service, David transitioned into the corporate sector, where he worked in contract sales and developed a strong foundation in business operations. The events of 9/11 led him to return to the Marine Corps, demonstrating his continued dedication to service.

After his second honorable discharge, David pursued entrepreneurial ventures, including work in skydiving instruction and videography. He successfully operated a skydiving video and instruction business for several years before an unfortunate landing brought that chapter to a close.

Determined to continue growing professionally and to better serve others, David obtained his real estate license, eventually becoming a broker and instructor for continuing education. During this time, he witnessed firsthand the legal challenges individuals often face, which ultimately inspired him to pursue a career in law.

David went on to earn his Juris Doctor and successfully passed the Florida Bar. With a comprehensive understanding of both legal and practical matters, he founded Gillett Legacy Law PLLC, where he combines his diverse experiences to advocate effectively for his clients.
